ABC GOLD STEP Contractor The Florence Electric team is proud of winning the Associated Builders and Contractors’ Safety Training and Evaluation Program (STEP) Gold Award. The Gold award represents the highest possible level of recognition for a first year contractor. The award criteria are both a statistical analysis of safety incidents as well as an audit of twenty key components of a company’s safety program. The evaluation reaffirms Florence Electric’s commitment to safety in exceeding the industry’s most rigorous safety standards
